Arbeitsschutz Aktuell 2024: Innovations and prominent inspiration

This year’s Arbeitsschutz Aktuell, which was held in Stuttgart from November 5th to 7th, 2024, was themed „Networking in occupational safety: Working safely now and in the future“. More than 230 exhibiting companies presented their latest innovations in the field of occupational health and safety to over 9,000 visitors at the exhibition.

PCH was represented with two stands and a wide range of products. Our exhibition area was well frequented the whole time – our team were literally slipping from one conversation to the next and had their hands full. We presented a wide range of PPE and workwear, from safety footwear in various protection classes to multi-standard clothing and solutions for hearing protection. Our partners contributed towards the variety: ForSec offered an eye test for prescription safety glasses and ANSELL demonstrated an attractive selection of protective work gloves suitable for a wide range of applications.

PCH grabs attention with interactive presentations

The interactive „Selfies @ height“ initiative was a highlight, where participants were able to try out harnesses on a rope course. Supported by an ACX cable winch, they experienced the feeling of working at height and were able to have their selfie printed out on site. The second stand focussed on solutions for confined working spaces, including the mast boom system, a rescue chute, the PRD from MSA and the SkyVest from Skylotec – all solutions aimed at making work in high-risk environments safer.

Our experts conducted practical live demonstrations twice a day. The rescue procedures on show, such as crash rescue in an inverted position and rescue exercises with dummy stretchers, sparked great interest and demonstrated the effectiveness of life-saving products.

Prominent inspiration and outlook for the future

It was not just exciting products that enriched the exhibition, but also inspiring, thought-provoking ideas and discussions from prominent figures. Former Bundesliga professional Nils Petersen spoke in his keynote speech about mental health and nourishment for long-term performance. Hollywood star Ralf Möller and world champion ski jumper Sven Hannawald also provided valuable insights into the topics of craftsmanship and resilience.

The exhibition gave us a valuable opportunity to present our solutions, receive feedback and forge new contacts. We are already looking forward to the next Arbeitsschutz Aktuell from October 20th to 22nd, 2026 in Stuttgart with many new impressions.
