Participation in the UN Global Compact

As a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, we have committed ourselves to adopting sustainable and socially responsible business practices. The initiative is based on ten universal principles centred around human rights, labour standards, environmental protection and anti-corruption. We integrate these principles into our corporate strategy and strive to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in our activities. Our commitment encompasses, among other things, the promotion of human rights, the elimination of discrimination and forced labour, as well as dealing with environmental issues on the basis of the precautionary principle.

Code of Conduct

We have established a binding code of conduct for our employees and suppliers. This is the foundation for how we work every day and keeps our social, environmental, and economic values safe.

Bronze medal from EcoVadis

EcoVadis has once again awarded us its bronze certificate in May 2025. Our score puts us well above the industry average. We are now working on improving this score even further.

ISO 9001

Certification in accordance with ISO 9001 – the globally recognised standard for effective quality management – is a central component of our activities. Receiving this accolade confirms that we continue to systematically plan, implement and continuously improve our processes so that we can reliably meet our customers‘ expectations. We do not regard quality as a one-off goal, but rather as an integral part of our corporate culture. ISO 9001 certification is synonymous with transparency, traceable processes, quantifiable performance and consistent customer focus – across all areas of the company. It inspires confidence and ensures the long-term high quality of our products and services.

ISO 14001

Our ISO 14001 certification demonstrates our commitment to active, structured environmental management and our responsibility towards our ecological impact. The standard places us under an obligation to comply with legal requirements, continuously improve our environmental performance and use resources efficiently. We are making a concrete contribution to environmental and climate protection through targeted measures to reduce emissions, energy consumption and waste. ISO 14001 certification underscores our commitment to sustainable business practices and demonstrates: Ecological responsibility and economic success are not mutually exclusive – they are interdependent.

ClimatePartner certified company

ClimatePartner certification means we can measure and cut our carbon emissions and really help make the planet more sustainable. We have calculated our carbon footprint and set scientifically founded reduction targets with the aim of lowering our emissions by 2026. We are putting measures in place such as sourcing green electricity and promoting e-mobility to achieve this. We are also supporting climate protection projects in Africa to reduce global emissions and promote sustainable development. The certification means that we have committed ourselves to transparency and will provide regular reports on our progress and goals in climate protection.

Use of green electricity

All branches in Germany have been sourcing electricity from sustainable sources since March 2024.

Climate-friendly dispatch

We place great importance on ensuring that parcel delivery is climate-friendly through our shipping service providers DPD and DHL, so that we can offer responsible delivery.

JobRad®

We offer our employees the possibility of leasing a company bike through JobRad®. This is how we bring together the topics of climate-neutral mobility and occupational health management.

Social commitment

The people in our region lie close to our hearts. We are happy to use our resources to support various projects – both in terms of funding and with appropriate donations in kind.
