Our Adler Talk at the Filmpark – an evening brimming with positivity, dialogue and genuine inspiration

We had the privilege of playing host to a special event together with 1. VfL Potsdam on May 13th, 2025: the Adler Talk at the Prinz Eisenherz event restaurant in Filmpark Babelsberg was all about the question of how brands can remain visible, clear and relevant in a world that is becoming increasingly digital and fast-paced. Partners from business, science, media and industry were all invited – and it was an evening that will live long in the memory.

Between plain and in-depth language: our panel discussion

The evening centred around a high-calibre panel discussion that impressed above all with its authenticity and complexity. Five personalities with very different perspectives came together under the confident moderation of Dr. Till Weishaupt (ad modum | BEST FULL-Service Agency) – but they all had one thing in common: the willingness to offer real insights instead of just buzzwords.

The panellists included Philipp Hartmann, entrepreneur, investor and co-founder of Lieferando, Jan-Erik Slooten, influencer and racing driver, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Marko Sarstedt, marketing professor at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Robert Schlesinger, renowned photographer and director, as well as Brenda Immink, Head of Marketing & Digital at PCH Technischer Handel GmbH. Whether entrepreneurs, marketing managers, scientists or influencers – their statements were clear, sometimes to the point, but always valuable.

What we found particularly inspiring was the variety of approaches: from concrete tips on brand management and bold appeals for more positivity through to visions of how artificial intelligence and platform logic will shape the communication of tomorrow.

Something we were particularly pleased about: The audience was not only attentive, but was also actively involved with questions and comments. We could easily have continued the dialogue for another hour – that’s how intense the joint reflection on the future of strong brands was.

No small talk, but a genuine exchange

Following the official round of talks, the event shifted quite organically into informal networking – and that was precisely our objective. Instead of a rigid event format, we wanted to create space for real encounters. The success this idea had was evident throughout the room: there was discussion, laughter and networking – all of which took place in a pleasantly relaxed atmosphere. No hyped-up „event atmosphere“, but rather a focussed, friendly exchange between partners.

One particularly nice thing was that our internal „Adler-Nestwerk“ was extremely well received. Whether at the bar, in conversation between the exhibition stands or over a small snack – the interaction was open, warm and purposeful. It was once again clear how important such places of exchange are for our community.

A small highlight to finish off: VfL player Maxim Orlov – dressed in proper style in protective gear and with the symbolic gold helmet – once again took centre stage, providing a humorous moment that inevitably brought back memories of the entertaining VfL shoot recently.

Many thanks for this evening – and see you next time

All in all, it was a successful event that revealed how much potential there is in real conversations and audacious ideas. We would like to extend our special thanks to everyone who made this evening possible: the guests on the podium, our moderator, the participants in the audience – and of course the wonderful team from the Restaurant Eisenherz, who made sure everything ran smoothly and created a relaxed atmosphere.

Plenty of discussions, new inspiration and a direct line to each other – that’s exactly the takeaway from this evening. And when something turns out well, the potential for a follow-up is there. We are already looking forward to the next one.
