Integration of the SDGs and UN Global Compact principles

We are committed to sustainable and responsible business practices as a company, guided by the United Nations‘ 2030 Agenda. This agenda defines 17 global development goals (Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs) that are to be achieved by 2030 and cover issues such as human rights, environmental and climate protection, as well as combating corruption. The SDGs constitute a global roadmap aimed at eradicating poverty, promoting environmental protection, securing peace and bringing prosperity to everyone. This also includes education, health, equality, clean water and renewable energies.

We have committed ourselves at PCH to actively incorporating these goals into our corporate strategy and consistently aligning our actions with them. We also uphold the core values of the UN Global Compact, an initiative launched by the United Nations that calls on companies worldwide to implement responsible business practices in the areas of human rights, labour standards, the environment and anti-corruption. The ten principles of the UN Global Compact act as guidelines for us in this respect. Our commitment means we are making an important contribution to achieving the SDGs and a more sustainable future.
